Behind MonitorMedley
A little more of what you love, in your day.
MonitorMedley began with my own photographs and the screens I spend so much time looking at.

I’m Marc Fleming, a photographer, artist, and marketer based in Wexford, Pennsylvania. I enjoy making pictures, but I also want to spend time with them after the photographing and editing are done.
My desktop seemed like a good place for that. The trouble was getting the pictures to look right across screens with different shapes. A photograph I loved could lose the very thing I liked about it when it became wallpaper.
Every screen felt like a different canvas.
I wanted to choose pictures that suited each screen: a wide landscape here, a portrait composition there. Then let them change throughout the day.
What I enjoyed wasn’t only seeing the whole desktop. It was the smaller moments, too. Closing a browser and finding a mountain lake again. Moving a window and catching a little color underneath. A familiar photograph returning to view between whatever I was working on.
Those glimpses made my workspace feel more like mine.
That became MonitorMedley.
I started working on a way to give each screen its own collection of pictures and more control over how they appeared. With help from AI tools, that personal project grew into a Windows app.
It started with something I wanted for my own desk. As it developed, I wanted to share it with other people who might enjoy having their photographs around them in the same way.
You don’t need to be a photographer. Your pictures might be family trips, favorite places, artwork, or simply images you like living with. The idea is to give them a place in your day, on screens that feel like your own.

MonitorMedley is independently made and offered through my company, 4th Wall Art, LLC, in Wexford, Pennsylvania.
